Welcome to The Fox and Goose Inn
The Fox and Goose Inn in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, is a privately owned, traditional real ale pub where the order of the day is the appreciation of quality cask conditioned ales from independent breweries, and conversation in comfortable surroundings free from the clatter of fruit machines and juke box. It is steeped in local history and has been extremely popular among the local community and visitors for many years.
We don’t serve food but you are welcome to bring your own and eat it in the pub. We don’t offer accommodation but can recommend local B&B’s. Transport links to Hebden Bridge are excellent, especially public transport. Hebden Bridge has an excellent Ale Trail with many superb real ale pubs in the town and surrounding area.
The Fox Friends are a group of people who came together to save their well-loved Local by turning it into West Yorkshire’s first co-operative pub.

So far, there are 100 Fox Friends members and the numbers are growing daily. They are determined to retain its traditional real ale pub character, rather than letting it fall into the hands of a large chain, or allowing it to be shut down with the building sold for another use.
